Antik Hotel Istanbul

"When i got to the hotel i was given rooms different from what i had booked. However after speaking to the staff and manager they changed my room to the correct room. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast could be better i feel because they charge for omlettes which i found weird. Ali,Sevcan,Burak at reception were helpful and went out of their way to ensure i was happy. Love the location. The newer rooms are very nice and comfy and up to standard with 4 star hotels. "

"The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is very near the Grand Bazaar. They made the arrangements for a tour. The tour company did not come to pick me up, but the hotel staff made contacts that got to the meeting place in time. The roof top restaurant was nice for meals (nicely prepared and presented) as well as for the included breakfast. The view of the Bosporus was good if you could ignore the industrial areas also in the view. The air conditioning was problematic and kept shutting off. I opened the window and that worked fine. I did not call and complain so they may have been able to adjust it properly. If you take a taxi back to the airport, be sure that the hotel knows you want a metered taxi, not their personalized service. It should cost about 40TL plus tip."
