"Amazing property with the best view in Beijing and proper 5 star experience which has become a rarity even among properties that are rated 5 star. Check out the pillow menu, I recommend the lavender. The cristal steam room on the 67th floor is worth mentioning as well. "
"The room they gave me smelled really strongly of ammonia, and it took them 3 days to change me to a new room. Now the new room smelled of rain and soggy. The ceiling was kind of falling apart, the light switches crooked. It was also quite unbelievable how I had to remind them and call them multiple times for them to change the bedding, or else it wouldn’t be changed at all. The housekeeping overall does quite a bad job. Not to mention the useless concierge. Cannot this, don’t know that. Needed the manager to get anything remotely done."

"This Shangri-La property at CBD of Beijing was really nice, with plenty of shopping malls nearby! Our check-in staff was very friendly and warm. We love that the mattress was firm and we can choose buckwheat pillows, and other types. The breakfast was OK and was a good combo of western and Chinese style. The bar at floor 80 was pretty cool and on a good day, you would have a wonderful view of the capital city! Will go back again! "
