"Nice clean hotel right in the middle of it all. 5 minute walk to the walking street. Just around the corner from the lively Beer Street but far enough away not to be disturbed. Staff very friendly and helpfull and free breakfast had enough choice to keep us all happy. Balcony more of a standing area than a sit and relax area and looked directly into the room across the way but we didnt use it anyway."

"I think this is a good example, of you get what you pay for. For the price, this is a good value, but based on the reviews being so high, we were surprised. We had a nice room, with a balcony. the room was clean, but very small. Most of the staff was very young, and very sweet, but didn't speak english. It was walkable to the touristy area, but there really weren't any restaurants very close by that we felt comfortable eating at. If you are looking for a no frills budget property, it is great for that, but when we returned to Hanoi and paid just a little more the increase in location and value was well worth it. "

"Cheap, but not a good decision for us. Check in was cursory, we asked to pay for breakfast and arranged a time and the kitchen was not open when we arrived, so had to scramble in the district to get breakfast before our tour.. we paid in advance via Expedia and had to argue at check out not to be double billed. Beds were hard. Room wasn’t very clean. Yeah, we had two more bookings here for our trip that we’ve canceled and upgraded to another hotel close by."
