"What makes El CID so wonderful is the staff! Everyone is very accommodating, smiling and thoughtful. From Roger in entertainment, Ari, who greets you at the door every day, Waitstaff, Wendy times two, Juan, Alberto, bartenders Erik and Ernesto. Yes, it is a smaller resort, but that’s what we like about it. Very clean and convenient to shopping by just walking. Watching the cruise ships come in and out was incredible. The grounds are immaculate. The food and drinks were awesome. Thank you El cid For a wonderful stay! We will be back next year for sure!"

"At first, I didn't think my friends and I would like that there aren't sailboats, paddle boards, etc, but the snorkeling made up for it. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships coming/going. Much smaller hotel than we've stayed at before, but we really liked the more personal feel from the staff. I had seen reviews about the noise from construction. That is only during the day, and we didn't hear it on the beach or restaurant. We will definitely return"
