My wife and I caught a cold and the hotel staff called a doctor, and when the prescription order was received, went and bought the medicines and brought them to our room, and continuously checked up on us. The hotel restaurant had a good selection on its menu of local and western foods, all tasty. The buffet breakfast was superb "

"Fabulous rooftop terrace/infinity pool to relax after sightseeing/hiking. Staff were all very friendly and helpful - when I needed to leave at 6am for an early flight, they not only booked me a taxi using an app with local discount applied, but also opened the entire hot and cold breakfast buffet an hour early, just for me. Amazing service"

"We stayed here for almost two weeks. I have an allergy to Gluten and the chefs went out of their way to make me special food for the entire trip. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like this was our second home. We will be going back and staying at Hotel Shambala! Thank you so much to everyone. We have travelled all over the world, and have never felt so welcome and taken care of. The staff was fabulous. Our room was always cleaned, and when we needed anything, it was there. Thank you for the amazing experience!"

"Solid property. Good value for money. I didn’t have a chance to try out the spa. Breakfast was very respectable with a nice omelet station and plenty of fruit and options. Rooftop bar had a nice pianist one night and the view of the mountains is gorgeous. You need a sweater up there and the water is freezing so you won’t be lingering. Location: about 35 min from airport and reasonable to go seeing local attractions like Boudanath and others. Overall pleased with it. "
