"beachside lagoonview suite at rosewood mayakoba! Just returned from the Rosewood Mayakoba. My wife and I stayed four nights in the beachfront lagoonview suite. The room was overwhelmingly nice. Ivan, our butler, started the trip off right with a wonderful Oaxacan mezcal drink, which set the tone for the whole experience. Yes, the prices are astronomical, but that's understood when you book a resort like this. We also love the mega resorts that are all inclusive, but the care and attention to detail gives an entirely different vibe. Everyone-I mean everyone takes the time to say hello, and are clearly all encouraged to be very open with their backgrounds and experiences in mexico. All in all it was a fantastic experience that, if you can afford the price, is worth repeating."
