"The Akmani was a good compromise between location, size of room and value for money. We had a superior double on the 7th floor. The bed was very comfortable and the air-conditioning was excellent. TV channels were rather poor (no football!). The buffet breakfast was also varied - Indonesian, Western including Eggs station - with good coffee. Although the service on the whole was good, the reason I didn't give a 5* star was because the bathroom had a slight smell which wasn't resolved during our stay. There was also rather loud drilling at the rooftop terrace after 8 am (part of ongoing renovation) so if you want to sleep-in, opt for a room in the lower floors. "

"Hotel undergoing renovation during my stay. Noisy during the day but I was away till evening so no problems there. Buffet breakfast wasn’t refilled at about 8.30am onwards. Most of the food gone, dinner plates also not available."
