"Not sure if it’s mandatory for all hotels in Playa Del Carmen that no outside guests are allowed into the resort. Found that a bit unnecessary, if you ever make a friend on the trip or have a friend staying in another hotel - they must either buy a day pass to visit you or wait for you in lobby. "

"Everything was great with the property, the food, the service. The only problem we had and it was huge was the entrance of a stranger into our room. Somehow the staff assigned our room to someone on Saturday night. He entered the room like anyone would normally and scared the hell out of us. We weren’t checking out until Sunday. Our last day was not so good. Not sure how they got that mixed up."

"This place should not be labeled as a resort, IT IS NOT, it is a hotel. It does need some updates to make it better. The food selections were limited, BUT it was made fresh to order. There is nothing on the property to do except swim!!! The hospitality team gets 5 star reviews, each and every one of them!! I was truly disappointed especially with location. HILTON NEEDS TO DO BETTER. JACUZZI NEVER WORKED! LIGHTS WENT OUT twice during our stay, rooms smell musty, no air 1 night."
